This is the second time I’ve had my car in for repair for a transmission issue within a year. While it was covered by the repair warranty - it took 2.5 weeks to get my car back. On top of that, it came back with more problems than when I dropped it off. They scanned the codes at dropoff, and there was no issue with the CAN Bus, FPDM, Fuel Pump, or Fuel Pressure sensor - but there are now! What’s more, in checking for an electrical issue (I suspect the tech that worked on the transmission failed to reconnect a ground wire or harness somewhere, I took note of the ECU connection points - all three were not fully latched, and two had the red safety tabs broken. So now, I have a car with multiple codes, all electrical, and a fuel gauge that doesn’t work (read: It sweeps at the beginning, so not a gauge issue) - and other strange electrical symptoms (Bluetooth interference, remote start doesn’t work). Sure, the transmission / torque converter is fixed, but a whole mess of other issues.
